After your wall is primed & painted the base color, mark & measure the size stripes you want. We did 12″ tall stripes and marked the wall about 7 times across Using the marks on the wall as a guide tape off the stripes. I add a small amount of tape on the rows I’ll be painting as a reminder. This is the most important step, use the base color to paint over the blue tape and let dry completely before painting the stripe color. This is what it will look like finished. After rolling your color begin removing the tape. I like to do this before the paint is all the way dry, I feel it peels less this way. Look at those clean lines! Finished product. Gorgeous lines, fun splash of color. Now to put the room back together and decorate!
